re:Mix Bleu Calanque, designed to protect the Mediterranean 🌊

At Open Funk, we believe design can be a powerful tool for change. That’s why we’re proud to introduce the re:Mix Bleu Calanque, a very limited capsule collection inspired by and for the Mediterranean sea, created in collaboration with Clean My Calanques and Le Pavé.

A limited edition rooted in circular design

The re:Mix Bleu Calanque is dressed in panels made from 100% recycled plastic, transformed by Le Pavé, a French company in recycled materials. Each panel tells a story of reuse, circularity, and local craftsmanship : turning waste into durable design.

Inspired by the blue of the Mediterranean Sea, this special edition reflects our commitment to creating products that are both beautiful and responsible.

Clean My Calanques: protecting Marseille’s natural treasure

This collaboration supports Clean My Calanques, an incredible volunteer-powered organization working every day to protect and clean the Calanques of Marseille. With the help of hundreds of volunteers, they organize clean-up missions, collect plastic waste, and raise awareness about marine pollution.

Their mission is simple but essential: preserve these fragile ecosystems for future generations.

Why this collaboration matters

This project has two goals:

• Support clean-up actions: First, to help boost Clean My Calanques’ fundraising campaign via Le Pot Commun, allowing them to finance plastic waste collection and depollution missions in the Calanques.
• Turn waste into future products : In a second phase, we aim to recycle and revalorize the collected plastic waste together with Le Pavé, transforming it into future re:Mix capsule collections, closing the loop between clean-up and creation.

How to participate

There are several ways to join the movement and make an impact:

1. Make a donation via the fundraising link available in Clean My Calanques’ Linktree (“Cagnotte : Préservons la Méditerranée !”)
2. For donations over 50€, you can enter a raffle until October 30th on our Instagram to win a re:Mix Bleu Calanque (one blender reserved for donors and one for volunteers)
3. The remaining re:Mix Bleu Calanque blenders will later be available on our webshop in very limited quantities, with 100% of profits donated to Clean My Calanques.
