3 everyday ingredients you can give a second life
A lot of food waste happens because we forget that many “leftovers” still have value.
Before throwing something away, ask yourself: Could this become something else?
Here are 3 simple ways to reuse ingredients you probably already have at home:

Hard bread? Bring it back 🥖
Stale bread doesn’t mean useless bread.
Turn it into:
- homemade breadcrumbs
- crispy croutons
- delicious French toast
A simple way to avoid waste and create something new.

Potato peels? Keep them 🥔
Potato peels are full of nutrients (and naturally gluten-free!).
You can dry it, blend it, and reuse it as crunchy breading. Another option is to roast it until crispy for homemade chips, or even bake them for a zero-waste snack.

Coffee grounds? Don’t throw them away ☕
Your morning coffee leftovers can still be useful.
Reuse them as:
- a natural scrub
- an odor absorber

Small habits can create a big impact. In Europe, a large part of food waste comes from private households, which means we all have the power to change things, one small action at a time.
