5 big questions about re:Mix💡

When designing a blender differently, we know that questions naturally come with it.

How does it work?
What materials are used?
How do you take care of it?
And what makes re:Mix different from a traditional blender?

So we gathered some of the questions we receive the most and answered them.

Which parts of re:Mix touch food?

Every food-contact part has been carefully selected to be safe, durable and made for everyday use.

The parts that come into contact with your ingredients are:

  • The glass jar : made of 100% glass
  • The silicone sealing : made of 100% silicone
  • The stainless steel blades and their silicone rubber seal

When removing the blade head, food can also come into contact with the blade head frame, which is made from 100% PLA.

All these materials are BPA-free and food safe ✔️

How do I clean the blade head?

Keeping your re:Mix fresh is simple. There are three ways to clean your blade head depending on your use:

Quick cleaning

For everyday mixes, a simple rinse and cleaning after use is enough.

Deep cleaning

When needed, take more time to remove any remaining ingredients.

Occasional cleaning

A deeper maintenance routine helps keep your re:Mix working at its best over time.

A few important things:
👉 Always wash by hand
👉 Do not put it in the dishwasher
👉 Avoid water above 40°C

Taking care of your blender helps it last longer.

Can I blend hot content like soup?

Yes, but with one important rule: Always let hot preparations cool down below 40°C before blending.

Wait until there is no more steam coming from your preparation. This protects the blade head and helps preserve your re:Mix over time.

Which jars work with re:Mix?

One of the things that makes re:Mix unique is that you can reuse jars you already have.

re:Mix is compatible with standard Twist-Off glass jars with a TO82 thread: 82 mm lid opening.

This means many everyday jars from supermarkets can work: jam jars, sauce jars, pickle jars and more.

You can also find examples of compatible jars in our website’s Jar Library section.

How can different jars fit on the same device?

The secret is standardization.

Instead of creating a custom jar that needs to be replaced, re:Mix uses a standard jar system. The blade head stays the same, only the jar changes.

The result?

One device. Many possibilities. A blender designed around reuse.

Designed to last means understanding every detail

From the materials we choose to the way you use and maintain your re:Mix, every decision has one goal: Create a blender that stays with you for years.
