Our steps production with re:Mix

How re:Mix is made:
inside our Berlin atelier, step by step ♻️
A blender designed to last starts long before it reaches your kitchen.
Behind every re:Mix, there is a process made of craftsmanship, technology, recycled materials, and many hours of hands-on work. No massive production line, no anonymous factory, each blender is carefully built, tested and prepared in our atelier in Berlin 🇩🇪
So… what actually happens before your re:Mix arrives at your door?
From raw materials to your kitchen
1. 3D Printing
Many of the internal components of re:Mix are produced directly in our atelier using 3D printing.
From technical parts to the blade head, this allows us to create, improve and adapt parts while keeping production local and flexible.
2. Cabling
A blender is more than just a beautiful casing.
We carefully wire and connect the electronics ourselves: the motor, rotary switch and all the components that make your re:Mix work smoothly.

3. Milling & Drilling
The iconic outer casing of re:Mix is made from recycled plastic panels.
We cut these panels precisely, then drill pilot holes to avoid cracks and ensure a strong, durable assembly.
4. Chamfering & Finishing
Every detail matters.
Each panel is carefully chamfered so screws fit perfectly flush with the surface, creating a clean finish while improving durability.

5. Assembly
Piece by piece, all components come together.
This is where your re:Mix becomes a blender, assembled by real people, with attention at every step.
6. Quality Check
Before leaving our atelier, every re:Mix is tested.
We make sure each blender is ready to become part of your daily kitchen routine.

7. Packing
The final step before its journey begins.
Your re:Mix is carefully prepared and packed before heading to its new home.

But our work doesn’t stop there
Designing a blender to last also means thinking about what happens after production.
Repair & refurbishment 🔄
If something goes wrong, we repair it.
If a re:Mix comes back to us, we give it a second life through refurbishment.
Recycling & circular production
We keep improving our circular approach:
- leftover materials from milling are sent back into recycling
- empty filament spools return to their manufacturer
- materials are kept in the loop whenever possible
